The mountain resorts of Auron and Saint-Etienne have introduced weekly activity passes for the whole family this summer.
The pass cards, available mid-July to mid-August, offer free entry to a range of indoor and outdoor activities.
The Multi-Activities Pass costs €33 and offers unlimited access to the Auron swimming pool and table tennis as well as one different activity each day: rock climbing, archery, trampolining, and use of the mountain lifts.
The Fitness Pass costs €46 and offers unlimited access to the Auron swimming pool, fitness room, dance and aerobics lessons, use of the mountain lifts, and a free practise on the golf course.
The Sport Pass costs €46 and offers unlimited access to the Auron swimming pool, mountain lift passes, one access to the via ferrata (mountain route equipped with cables, ladders, and bridges), and a free practise on the golf course.
All activity cards are valid for seven consecutive days (photo ID needed).
The resort of Auron is a typical alpine town offering hundreds of kilometres of footpaths through forests and meadows during the summer. The village is lined with stone buildings with shingle roofs; at the centre is the old chapel with Romanesque bell tower. There are numerous cafes and restaurants with sunny terraces.
