Every Friday from June 1 to Oct. 5, visitors can enjoy a traditional afternoon of cheese and music in Mayrhofen.

The eventful afternoons will take place 3-6 p.m. and cost €4 per person.

Musical entertainment will be provided by popular folk bands from the Zillertal Valley, including the Haderlumpen, Zellberg Buam, Ursprung Buam, Grubertaler, Marc Pircher, and the Zillertaler Bergcasanovas.

The Zillertal Sennerei Dairy Kitchen will be serving traditional dishes and visitors can taste and buy cheese specialities from the in-house shop.

There's also the opportunity to watch cheese and milk being produced at the Sennerei Dairy Zillertal. An ideal half-day excursion to the Erlebnis Sennerei Dairy Zillertal.

The town of Mayrhofen is located in the Upper Zillertal, in the heart of the Tyrol. Together with the neighbouring villages of Finkenberg, Ramsau, Brandberg, Ginzling, and Schwendau, it offers a variety of summer sports and activities.

The Zillertal Alps Nature Reserve - an area covering 372 square metres - is made up of narrow gorges, wide valleys, sheer rock faces, glaciers, and towering peaks. Protected by conservation laws, the area is home to rare flora and fauna and is a paradise for all nature lovers. Summer holidays are based around the two mountains: Ahorn, the "Leisure Mountain", and Penken, the "Action Mountain".
