Chef Jean-Marc Villard offers cookery lessons in his large family villa close to Lyon, in the Rhone Alps.
Learn typical French dishes like lamb with foie gras, coalfish with leeks and a mouse of smoked beetroot, or macaroons with gingerbread, sweet chestnut or smoked bacon.
Jean-Marc Villard has 28 years of experience. He spent much time working in the kitchens of top French restaurants and taught cookery at the Institut Bocuse for 10 years.
As part of his cookery lessons, Jean-Marc takes his pupils to the Saint-Antoine market in Lyon and to the prestigious Halles Paul Bocuse.
The autumn programme is ready and lesons are adapted to the number of participants. When one class is full, a new one is set.
Lessons cost €75 per person and take place in the morning. If morning classes are full, more are organised for the afternoon. The calendar is regularly updated. Gourmet Mornings take place Saturdays or Sundays from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

The Rhone Alps is easily accessible from Lyon-Saint-Exupery Airport. Lyon's TGV station offers regular direct trains to the Rhône-Alpes, including Aix les Bains, Annecy, Chambéry, Grenoble, Montélimar, and Valence.
