The Tignes Bike Park opens for summer June 30 to Sept. 2, 2012.

Located in the mountain ranges of Palafour and Toviere, the Tignes Bike Park offers 100 kilometres of tracks, both downhill and endurance tracks, for beginners as well as experts. The Toviere aeroski and the Palafour ski lift offer access to the park.

The mountain bike tracks are graded in order of difficulty and have signs to describe the terrain like "Forest bump", "Rocky trail", "Ice", and "Funky Tufs". Watch a video taken at the Tignes Bike Park.

Getting to the park: Toviere Aeroski is open every day from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1-5 p.m. between July 3 and Sept. 4. The Palafour ski lift is open daily from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. between June 26 and Sept. 4. Note: is it not possible to go down to the resort using the Palafour chairlift. Free shuttles link Tignes Les Boisses and Tignes Le Lac every day.

The Sportignes Card offers access to a wide range of activities for free, including a multisports centre, tennis courts, swimming pool, archery, squash, kayaks, canoes, sail boats, air rifles, and a multimedia centre.
