Val Gardena has upgraded its summer travel card to offer further benefits to hikers and bikers this summer.
Explore the Dolomites without your car: the Val Gardena Card 2012 offers unlimited use of all lifts in the valley for a six-day period from June 9 to Oct. 14. This year, the travel card offers even more: it is now fitted with a chip enabling you to check your trekking performance (you just need a computer with Internet access); it includes unlimited use of all scheduled bus services in the zone of the ‘Mobilcard South Tyrol'; and finally there is a new three-day version of the card now available.
The Val Gardena Card enables you to access the Dolomite's passes around the Sella Massive. There are numerous hiking and biking trails dotted with alpine and refuge huts.
The six-day travel card costs €69 for adults; €50 for teenagers; and €3 for children under 8 years. The three-day travel card costs €55 for adults; €39 for teenagers; and €3 for children.
The Val Gardena Card is available at the partner accommodations of the Val Gardena Tourist Offices, by presenting the voucher or the Val Gardena Active Member Card at the Tourist Offices and at the following cableways: Ortisei-Alpe di Siusi; Ortisei-Furnes-Seceda; Selva Gardena-Ciampinoi; Selva Gardena-Dantercepies; and Sella-Forcella Sassolungo.
